Am I imagining things?

October 30, 2007

Or is anyone else seeing a sudden rash of Liberals having confrontations and/or speaking against the ‘truthers’?

First we have Bill Maher’s fracas with the truthers in his audience after they heckled him:

Bill Maher Throws 9/11 Truthers Off ‘Real Time’ Set

On Friday’s “Real Time,” the Truthers struck back by infiltrating his audience, and interrupting the show for several minutes. The fracas resulted in Maher actually going into the crowd several times to assist security in removing the offending parties

Then we have Bill Clinton angrily responding after being heckled by truthers during a speech:

Bill Clinton Takes on 9/11 Truthers at Hillary Fundraiser

When a third called 9/11 an “inside job,” Clinton snapped back “How dare you? I live in New York, and I know who did that. You guys have got to be careful, or you’re going to give Minnesota a bad reputation.”

And now I’ve run across this video of Noam Chomsky speaking against 9/11 conspiracy theories:

Chomsky on 9-11 Conspiracies

Like I said… I’m probably just imagining things, but it just seems odd that this has all happened over the past week. It seems similar to how all politicians suddenly become more religious the closer it is to election time.
