Excuse the language

Its just that I thought the following info was slightly interesting.

A quick check of the stats reveals the top three searches leading people to this site are:

f**k obama
f**k america
f**k mccain

Obama leads McCain in f**k searches nearly 4 to 1. America has a slight lead over McCain at 2 to 1. What does this mean? I have no idea.

(side note: I’m pretty sure its this post that is causing these search hits)

Sen. Stevens guilty on all counts, career in peril

Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens was convicted of seven corruption charges Monday in a trial that threatened to end the 40-year career of Alaska’s political patriarch in disgrace

Stevens, 84, was convicted of all the felony charges he faced of lying about free home renovations and other gifts from a wealthy oil contractor.

Stevens should resign immediately.  If he doesn’t, the Senate should boot him.   It only takes a 2/3rds vote. Hopefully Senator Steven’s career is now on that ‘Bridge to Nowhere’.

The Republican party deserves to lose this Senate seat for allowing him to run for re-election in the first place.

Did Biden just endorse McCain?

October 20, 2008

Wow.

Biden to Supporters: “Gird Your Loins”, For the Next President “It’s Like Cleaning Augean Stables”

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.

Did he really just say that?  Did he really just say that If we elect Obama their will be a ‘generated, international crisis’?  No wonder they’ve been keeping Biden away from the press.  He might has well have said ‘Vote McCain. Our enemies know what his response will be and won’t test him.’

Hmmmm….  I still think I’m sticking with ‘none of the above’ however.

We’re Screwed ‘08

People apparently like Obama’s choice of Sarah Palin for VP.

October 16, 2008

This is hilarious. Sad….. but hilarious.

‘Howard Stern Show’ Quizzes Obama Supporters in Harlem on Candidate Policies

The interviewer attributed McCain’s policies to Obama. The people who were asked couldn’t tell the difference.

“Are you more for Obama’s policy because he’s pro-life? Or because he thinks should stay in Iraq and finish this war?”
“I think because our troops should stay in Iraq and finish this war. I’m really with him on that.”

“Now if Obama wins do you mind Sarah Palin being vice president?”
“No. No I don’t.”

“Do you think she’ll do a good job?”
“I think she’ll do a good job.”
“Are you glad he elected her to be the VP if he wins?”
“Yep!”

CNN host ‘overwhelmed’ by basic math

October 5, 2008

Take a moment and view the following YouTube video:

CNN Focus Group Said Biden Won

Notice anything?  Mainly how 13 people said Biden won while 12 people say Palin  won.  While most people would say this is about an even a split as you can get, Soledad O’ Brien announces it as an ‘overwhelming’ win for Biden.

Hilarious Example of Media Bias

Soledad asked them immediately after the debate, “How many thought Joe Biden won the debate tonight?”

I’d say about half the hands go up. O’Brien then inexplicably says, “So, looks overwhelming.” Then she asks who thought Palin won. Again, about half the hands go up and she describes it as “small hands.” Then she quickly declares Biden the winner and calls it a day.

Rumor has it Soledad then asked the Biden voters if they ‘were comfortable or needed a pillow to sit on’.

Bailout Bullshit

Here is the complete text of H.R. 1424 (PDF file).  Now take a look at the following excerpt:

5 described in paragraph (1)(A).’’.
6 (b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments made by

Now (and please pardon my language since right now it is the only way i can express my frustration), can ANYONE tell me just what the fuck this has to do with an economic bailout?

Our Government is a complete and total joke.

Insurers dive on Reid’s ‘bankrupt’ quote

Comments from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid about a ‘major insurance company’ on the verge of bankruptcy send already hard-hit stocks sharply lower.

Several big life insurance stocks fell sharply Thursday, dragged down by jitters about their role in the credit crisis and fears sparked by a comment from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., Wednesday about a potential bankruptcy in the industry.

“We don’t have a lot of leeway on time. One of the individuals in the caucus today talked about a major insurance company. A major insurance company — one with a name that everyone knows that’s on the verge of going bankrupt. That’s what this is all about,” Reid said prior to the Senate’s approval of the $700 billion bailout bill.

Careless.  Just plain careless and stupid.  But hey, at least you got your sound bite and camera time right Senator?  Everyone knows that’s the most important thing. right?

But thats not all:

A spokesman for Sen. Reid backtracked a bit Thursday and said that the senator was not aware of any company being in danger of bankruptcy.

“Senator Reid is not personally aware of any particular company being on the verge of bankruptcy. He has no special knowledge about [a bankruptcy] nor has he talked to any insurance company officials,” said Jim Manley, spokesman for Sen. Reid, in an email to CNNMoney.com.

Too late Senator.  The damage is done.
