CNN Allows Clinton Backer to Question GOP Candidates in YouTube Debate
A CNN host acknowledged the participation of a retired Army colonel linked to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in a televised Republican debate Wednesday.
Keith Kerr of Santa Rosa, Calif., who revealed himself as gay, challenged the eight candidates via video message and on stage at the CNN/YouTube debate in Florida on the right of gays and lesbians to serve openly in the U.S. military.
The broadcast, however, failed to mention that Kerr, who served as a brigadier general in the reserves, is a member of a gay and lesbian steering committee for Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.
But remember everyone… the mainstream media is a better source of news and information than bloggers and the Internet in general. Because the MM are a collection of professionals who are backed up by a legion of fact checkers who verify all stories and sources before they run.
Except when they don’t.

Umm….. what campaign?

One Full Day Of Congress In 48 Seconds
Harry Reid is keeping the Senate in session so that President Bush can’t make any recess appointments over the Thanksgiving break. Unfortunately, that means someone has to show up in DC to go through the motions.
Actually, its more like 35 seconds if you remove the C-SPAN 2 intro.
Pathetic.

Seriously… every campaign a story like this pops up. When the hell are these campaign managers going to get their act together enough to make sure stupid crap like this doesn’t happen? How hard can it be to assign someone to be in charge of tipping the damned wait staff?
When Real Lives Get Swept Into Campaign Rhetoric
Esterday does not think Clinton got it. “I don’t think she understood at all what I was saying,” Esterday said, adding, “I mean, nobody got left a tip that day.”
Clinton may have decided not to tip. She was also never given a bill — her meal was on the house. Still, Esterday said Clinton might have left her something: “Maybe they don’t carry money, I don’t know.”
And the ‘meal on the house’ thing isn’t an excuse. The owner may decide to give the food away for no charge, but the staff is still working.
